Volunteer for Operation Clean Sweep 2025

Volunteer for Operation Clean Sweep 2025

The Bossier Sheriffs Office, City of Bossier City, Bossier Parish Police Jury, and Keep Bossier Beautiful are once again partnering for "Operation Clean Sweep 2025" on March 22, 2025. This year's event is scheduled for the week prior to the 2025 Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air Show. We want to show everyone how clean we keep our city. We want this year's cleanup to be even better than last year. We had a tremendous turnout last year with 700 registered volunteers. Thanks to all who helped, we were able to collect 14,710 lbs. of debris overall.

However, we need your help to organize and lead groups in your areas of influence to pick up trash on Saturday, March 22, 2025, for this to be successful. We want Neighborhood Watch Groups, businesses, churches, clubs, organizations, school groups, and individuals to join us. We want these groups to clean up in their own neighborhood/subdivision and bring all the collected trash to the Viking Drive Substation by 11:30 a.m. on March 22nd. There will be a large dumpster provided by Republic Waste, and you can enjoy lunch with crawfish, hamburgers, and hot dogs, as well as group photos.

Volunteer groups and teams should register for the cleanup with KBB Volunteers HERE to get your "Operation Clean Sweep" T-shirt, trash bags, and disposable gloves. These items will be available for registered volunteers to pick up at the Viking Drive Substation starting Monday, March 17 through noon on Friday, March 21.

Clean streets and neighborhoods in Bossier Parish help to reduce crime. Curb appeal isn't just about looks .. .it's about less crime and more pride. Lending their support for our clean-up day are Republic Services, Friends of Bossier Parish Law Enforcement, Inc., Expand Energy, Aethon Energy, Ben E. Keith, Citi Tele Coin, Sierra Frac Sand, Inc., Lamar Outdoor Advertising, Shane's Seafood & BBQ, Farmers Seafood, Bossier Parish School Board, BAFB, Bossier Parish Police Jury, KBB, City of Bossier City, and the Office of Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser.

I know that I can count on you. Please organize your groups and register at the link provided for "Operation Clean Sweep" on March 22, 2025. If you have any questions, contact Lynn Bryan at LBryan@KeepBossierBeautiful.com or (318) 525-2249, or with my office at (318) 965-3409.
