The North Louisiana Football Alliance launches Life Skills Program
The North Louisiana Football Alliance Life Skills Program was created with a simple mission: ensure every athlete leaves the NLFA with more than football experience — they leave with direction, opportunity, and a plan for life after the game.
While the NLFA provides a competitive spring football platform for post-graduate athletes, the Life Skills Program addresses the realities many young men face when college football options are limited or uncertain. Through workforce readiness training, career exploration, and mentorship, athletes are guided toward practical, achievable next steps.
Key partnerships power this initiative:
- SRT Sales / Landers Dodge — offering exposure to employment opportunities and career pathways within automotive and sales-related fields.
- Bossier Parish Community College – EMPWR LA — providing workforce training and job-aligned education options that lead to employable skills.
- Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College (NLTCC) — delivering hands-on trade education that leads to certifications and long-term careers.
The goal is measurable outcomes: job placement pathways, training enrollment, mentorship connections, and improved life skills. Football is the platform — building stable futures is the purpose.
