The Louisiana Department of Education has asked us to extend an invitation to you for the 2025 Fast Forward Convention, which will take place on February 25th at the Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette from 7:30 AM to 2:15 PM. You are welcome to attend for part of the day if you are unable to stay for the full duration.

This event will bring educators, policymakers, and industry leaders together to discuss how Louisiana is preparing students for high-demand careers through dual enrollment, work-based learning, and Registered Apprenticeship opportunities.

Business and industry play a critical role in ensuring that students graduate with the skills and credentials needed for today’s workforce. The convention will provide an opportunity to:

• Learn about education and workforce development initiatives that impact Louisiana’s economy
• Connect with school leaders, policymakers, and industry professionals working to strengthen career pathways
• Explore opportunities to engage with students through internships, Registered Apprenticeships, and other work-based learning experiences
