SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary College has been recognized as one of the nation’s best colleges in the Princeton Review’s 2023 “Best 388 Colleges” publication. The annual ranking helps college applicants find the best fit by comparing hundreds of American colleges and universities. Centenary is also included in the Princeton Review’s list of “Best Southeastern” colleges.

Princeton Review produces 50 annual college rankings lists based on data from surveys of 160,000 students at the 388 institutions included in its book. The student survey includes 80 questions covering academics, administration, and student life, and each college is given a score based on its students’ answers to the survey questions. The survey responses represent a wide diversity of student voices at institutions that vary by region, size, selectivity, and character.

Students praised Centenary’s support for “one-of-a-kind opportunities” for cultural immersion, both at home and abroad. The survey answers also revealed that Centenary students value the rigor of their coursework, the opportunities for both independent research and collaborations with faculty members, and the accessibility of their professors.
