Gordon Inc. to expand Bossier City plant
Gordon Inc. has broken ground on a 71,000-square-foot expansion at its manufacturing facility in Bossier City.
This $11.5 million capital investment includes $6.5 million for building expansion and the balance for improvements. The building expansion will bring the company’s total square footage to more than 300,000 square feet at its plant on Hazel Jones Road.
With this expansion, the company expects to create more than two dozen new jobs over the next five years.
Gordon Inc. specializes in sustainable architectural metal and fabrication products that can be used indoors and outdoors. The company boasts of being a leader in ornamental metal fabrication.
Their product line includes specialty metal ceilings and wall systems, drywall and plaster trims, column covers, and other architectural specialty products. Gordon Inc.'s metal products are designed for a wide range of commercial construction, including transportation hubs, educational institutions, hospitality venues, entertainment centers, medical facilities, data center, and cleanroom environments.
Gordon has a portfolio of high-profile projects across the United States, Canada and Europe.Its work can be found in notable locations, including major airports such as George Bush Intercontinental, Orlando International, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, LAX, Denver International and many more. Additionally, Gordon has contributed to the design of landmarks, including the 9/11 Museum, MIT’s Music Building, and the football locker rooms at Iowa, Texas A&M, and the New Orleans Saints’ Superdome.

The expansion project will take about 12 months to complete.
