W + T Virtual Pre-Event 

GDIT’s annual Women + Technology event brings together women at different stages of their careers for an inspiring and engaging event that showcases actionable tools, insights, and networking to support career growth and mobility. This year, we are hosting our 2^nd Bot-a-Thon Challenge to engage young women as high school juniors and seniors and college students. Students will learn about Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and use those new RPA skills to solve a problem related to Environmental Issues, Cyber Threats, and Social Activism. Certificate of completion will be provided to all students who participate in the program. Teams will be judged on a set of criteria including innovation, creativity, impact, and technical functionality. The members of selected teams will receive scholarships for use with school-related costs. This year's Women + Technology theme is Paving the Path to Progress. We recognize the importance of empowerment, resiliency, and creating opportunity for others. Without question, women paving the path for other women and allies will ensure even more women can reach their potential, together.
