SHREVEPORT, La. – CHRISTUS Health has opened its first primary care clinic in Stonewall, expanding access to health services in the growing community.

The clinic, located at 4974 Stonewall-Frierson Road in The District shopping center, includes three exam rooms, an on-site lab and a staff of six. Services offered include chronic disease management, preventative care, wellness screenings, physical therapy, diagnostic testing and physicals.

“This expansion reflects our commitment to meeting patients where they are,” said Brandon Hillman, hospital administrator at CHRISTUS Coushatta Health Care Center.

The facility is led by Dee Morris, an advanced practice registered nurse who has practiced in the Stonewall area for 27 years.

The clinic uses Epic, the electronic health record system employed across CHRISTUS Health, allowing for real-time information sharing. Patients also have access to MyChart, a digital platform where they can schedule appointments, refill prescriptions, review records and communicate with clinicians.
