Signage Assistance – Day 1
- When: Saturday, December 21 from 9 – 11 AM
- Where: Meet in the Silver Lot Parking Lot

- Details: We need a small group of people to assist with signage in the stadium—specifically, concourse and portal signs.
Signage Assistance – Day 2
- When: Thursday, December 26 from 10 AM – 12 PM
- Where: Meet in the Silver Lot Parking Lot

- Details: We need a small group of people to assist with signage in the stadium—specifically, north endzone, south endzone, Hospitality Tent and white fence on the field.
Come and Welcome the Teams! – First night
- When: December 25 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM
- Where: Holy Angels
- Volunteer Link: NO NEED TO SIGN UP, JUST SHOW UP!
- Details: We need help from the community to welcome our teams to town! We will stage inside and outside of Holy Angels. Show up in your best Christmas attire, bring your best welcome signs, and help us hand out beads to the players, give some high fives and shake some hands!
Chairman’s VIP Reception**
- When: December 26 from 5 – 7 PM
- Where: The Remington Hotel

- Details: We need two people to help greet and check in guests. Volunteers will get to eat for free. Soft drinks/water, free
Kids Welcome Party**
- When: December 26 from 5 – 7 PM
- Where: Sci-Port Discovery

- Details: The kids in each team's traveling party will be hosted at the Sci-Port Discovery Center with tons of activities while their parents and the players each have their own parties. This is a great opportunity to volunteer if you have children because you can bring them along! A pizza party will be provided for everyone at the event.
Big Game Welcome Party – Two (2) ways to help
- When: December 26 from 6 – 10 PM
- Where: Riverview Hall

- Welcome Details: Just Show up! We need help from the community to welcome our teams to the party, Mardi Gras style! We will stage inside and outside of Riverview Hall. Show up in your best Mardi Gras attire, bring your best welcome signs and help us hand out beads to the players, give some high fives and shake some hands!
- Big Game Welcome Party – ‘During Event’ Details: We will need about 50 volunteers for this event. This event is the combination of the Players and Coaches welcome party, plus the Big Game Show which is usually a public event. The players, coaches/admin, Bowl Foundation members, sponsors, and local elected officials will be in attendance. We will need volunteers to help serve the food to all guests, pick up plates on the tables as needed, float the room to readily be available for anything and help serve drinks at the beverage stations (tea and soft drinks).
Kids Day Out**
- When: December 27, 8 – 11 AM (1st shift), 11 AM – 2 PM (2nd shift)
- Where: Sci-Port, Holiday Lanes, Surge

- Details: While their moms are at Ladies Day Out, the kids in the traveling party for both teams will be having their own day of fun around the town. You can sign up for one or both shifts if you like, lunch will be provided on the 2nd shift.
Independence Bowl Foundation Tailgate**
- When: December 28, 3:30 – 5:30 PM (1st Shift), 5:30 – 7:30 PM (2nd Shift)
- Where: Louisiana State Fairgrounds – AG Building

- Details: The Independence Bowl Foundation hosts a complimentary tailgate for all members. Volunteers will help with check-in and will be able to eat and drink for free.
Gameday Promotions – Coca-Cola Fan Fest
- When: December 28, 11 AM – 3:30 PM (1st shift – before Fan Fest), 3:30 – 7:30 PM (2nd shift – during Fan Fest)
- Where: Silver Lot Parking Lot

- Details: The Fan Fest volunteers will receive a stadium credential and help the committee chair make sure the Fan Fest and everything it entails, goes according to plan.

Gameday Ushers
- When: December 28, 5 PM until the game is over
- Where: Independence Stadium

- Details: The ushers will help greet fans and direct them to their seats before and during the game.
