About OPERATION Bright Holiday

OPERATION Bright Holiday (OBH) is an initiative led by the Barksdale AFB (BAFB) Company Grade Officer Council (CGOC) that aims to send primarily first-term airmen home for the winter holiday season. OPERATION Bright Holiday funding is offered to deserving first term and junior enlisted Airmen that best uphold the Air Force Core Values and demonstrate superior job performance. This program is unique to Barksdale AFB and has sent over 1600 Airmen back to their homes in countries including: Nigeria, Ghana, Portugal, The United Kingdom, Guam, Puerto Rico, Peru, Thailand, Hawaii and across the United States since its inception. With the support of sponsors, the CGOC is looking forward to sending more Airmen home this year as a token of our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

About Company Grade Officer Council

The Company Grade Officers Council is a voluntary professional and social organization for Company Grade Officers (CGOs) established to promote professional development, community service, and esprit de corps through leadership on the installation and in the local community.

Sponsorship Tiers

Bronze: $500, receive 10 tickets to the event and a logo on a banner with all of the other sponsors.

Silver: $1000, receive 20 tickets, a banner of your own, and a table for your organization.

Gold: $1500, receive 30 tickets, a table for your organization, a reserved Oktoberfest table, and a banner for your organization.
