Community Development Institute is coming to Louisiana in 2024!
As a satellite site of CDI Central at the University of Central Arkansas, we are excited to bring this training to the state of Louisiana.
Both President/CEO Lisa Johnson and Vice President Jessica Hemingway, PCED, have completed all three years of the CDI training plus a bonus advanced year.
As we bring CDI to Louisiana, we are hosting all three sessions of training in one year - keeping the small cohort of 25 engaged citizens together for training together in 2024.
The dates are: February 20-23, June 3-7, September 30-October 4
The institute builds the capacity of individuals and communities to positively impact economic and social development. This is achieved by expanding individual’s ability to identify community assets, set goals, encourage collaboration and partnerships with stakeholders, and bringing together groups of people to respond to a broad range of economic and quality of life issues.
Be a part of this training that creates communities with robust economies, a flourishing quality of life, and diverse and engaged citizen leaders. By sponsoring or attending the institute, you are reaffirming your (or your business') commitment to training that leads to healthy and vibrant communities.

We will host the Community Development Institute during three different weeks or sessions in 2024. You are required to attend all three weeks to be eligible to be chosen for a spot within the program for 2024.

When you register for CDI Louisiana, the class will be kept together throughout the entire year, as a cohort. That means you must commit to all three weeks of training throughout 2024:
