Community Development Institute is returning to Louisiana in 2026! 

As a satellite site of CDI Central, we are excited to host this training in the state of Louisiana. 

At CDI Central in Louisiana, we provide all three sessions of training in one year for a small cohort of 30 engaged citizens. 

The dates are: Feb 17-20 (Year 1); June 8-11 (Year 2); September 28-Oct. 2 (Year 3)

The institute builds the capacity of individuals and communities to positively impact economic and social development. This is achieved by expanding individual’s ability to identify community assets, set goals, encourage collaboration and partnerships with stakeholders, and bringing together groups of people to respond to a broad range of economic and quality of life issues.

Time

We will host the Community Development Institute during three different weeks or sessions in 2026. You are required to attend all three weeks to be eligible to be chosen for a spot within the program for 2026. 

The dates are: Feb 17-20; June 8-11; September 28-Oct. 2
